Twilight Breaking Dawn: Taylor Lautner admits saying goodbye was tough

The teen actor said saying bye to his character Jacob Black as well as his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson wasn’t an easy thing to do. 

As Twilight nears the end of its movie run, one of the biggest stars of the series admits that saying goodbye was an extremely tough thing to do.

Twihards still have one the final installment to look forward to – but for the stars of the movies, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the excitement of shooting the movies has come to an end.

And it wasn’t easy, as Taylor, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the hit vampire-themed films, revealed to STV’s Grant Lauchlan.

“The last day of filming was tough for all of us. One because we’re kind of saying goodbye to each other in a way in the filming sense, we had a lot of fun making these movies, and then two we were saying goodbye to our characters – who, five movies in, we’re kind of attached to. “

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part One has just hit cinemas and Taylor said the latest installment in the gripping stories will truly whet the audience’s appetite for the second and final part of the series.

“I’m must excited to see their faces when they walk out of the theater because it’s going to leave them wanting more, it’ll keep them on the edge of their seats until the very last second. I’m excited for that,” Taylor said.

He also recommended that cinema-goers make sure they stay until after the credits have finished rolling – because there’s a “big surprise” at the end.
