Taylor Lautner may be best known for his supporting role in the "Twilight" films, but he takes center stage in his latest movie "Abduction." With a talented supported cast, the gripping action movie paints a bright future for the young star and the new release DVD hits shelves January 17.
Nathan Harper (Lautner) is given the shock of his life one day when a school assignment on missing children reveals that he is in fact a Steven Price, a young boy that went missing years ago. The story goes much deeper than that, however, and Nathan soon finds himself fighting for his life.
A psychologist Dr. Geraldine Bennett (Sigourney Weaver) tells Nathan's real father was a former CIA agent that angered both the CIA and Serbian terrorists when he stole a list of corrupt agent's names. Now, the terrorists want to kidnap him in order get the list returned to them.
"Abduction" will certainly appeal to fans of action thrillers including "The Bourne Identity" as well as the Shia LeBeouf film "Eagle Eye."
