Graham Greene Honored Tonight at TIFF

On June 25 TIFF presents the next installment of In Conversation With as Canadian actor Graham Greene takes centre stage at TIFF Bell Lightbox to discuss his career highlights with Jesse Wente, Head of TIFF Film Programmes.
Greene’s appearance at TIFF coincides with First People’s Cinema, a two-month TIFF exhibition showcasing the work of indigenous filmmakers, artists and musicians from Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
Born on Six Nations Reserve in Ontario, Greene is familiar to audiences for his appearances in film, television and stage productions. Nominated for an Academy Award for his performance as Kicking Bird in Dances With Wolves, Greene is well-known as Edgar Montrose on The Red Green Show, in addition to countless roles in films including Casino Jack, Gunless, New Moon, and The Green Mile. Greene also appeared in the Stratford Festival’s productions of The Merchant of Venice and Of Mice and Men.
