"Tinsel Korey joins us to talk about her debut EP, Seize The Day, set for release on August 30^th.  Tinsel is best known for playing the beautifully scarred character in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.  Although many are not familiar with her as a songwriter, Tinsel has been developing her musical talents from a very young age. The release of this EP will be the result of several years of work and collaboration. Recorded at the famous WAX studios in Washington, the Indie-Folk Rock album will consist of five news songs, in addition to Tinsel’s previously released debut single, “Letter.” It will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com, among most major online outlets. A labor of love, each track was written by Tinsel herself, with the help of producer Brian Blake for the music composition.
We will also be giving an exclusive sneak peak of her new song Love Me Let Me Go"

An Aboriginal Youth Leadership Summit was held at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre on Tuesday, which drew more than 100 youth from Prince Albert and area.

The event started early with registration starting at 8 a.m. followed by a breakfast provided by the Prince Albert Métis Women's Association. Many people with different backgrounds spoke to the youth including Dr. Sharon Acoose, Dr. Lee Wilson and athlete, Micheal Linklator.

"We were trying to target a certain group and bring a positive message to them like furthering your education and empower them," event co-ordinator Colleen Whitedeer said of the youth at the summit. "Everybody struggles and it's important for them to know that."
